A platform for interdisciplinary research, postdoctoral training, research ethics, and international academic exchange.
AUHT operates a University Research Center as the institution's primary platform for advancing interdisciplinary research, postdoctoral-level training, research-ethics support, and global academic exchange. The Center comprises four units spanning clinical data, public health, interdisciplinary health research, and research ethics.
This institute focuses on clinical data, AI, computational health, decision support, and quality improvement in real clinical settings. Research integrates clinical experience, healthcare data, and methodology to improve diagnosis, treatment, nursing, prognosis, patient safety, and care quality.
This institute focuses on population health, disease prevention, health behavior, lifestyle interventions, chronic-disease management, and community public-health practice. Researchers conduct applied work in communities, schools, workplaces, families, healthcare institutions, and specific populations.
This institute treats health not solely as a medical issue, but as the result of social, cultural, economic, environmental, institutional, technological, service-experience, and lifestyle factors. Researchers from diverse disciplines pursue work on health, wellbeing, equity, value, sustainability, service experience, and social change.
The Ethics Committee is the University Research Center's research-ethics and academic-compliance body. It provides ethics review, compliance guidance, and integrity support for research involving human subjects, health data, clinical materials, surveys, interviews, sensitive personal information, AI healthcare applications, public-health interventions, and other ethically sensitive work.
The University Research Center supports doctorate-holders continuing interdisciplinary health research at AUHT. Research directions include healthcare, public health, lifestyle medicine, health data, health policy, value evaluation, and sustainable wellbeing.
